Microbe-Plus Sludge Away accelerates the biological removal of slowly degradable organic bottom sludge that can become toxic to fish and plants.

When organic particles accumulate on the pond floor, they begin to rot, releasing toxic gases. These gaseous byproducts endanger pond life. Mircobe-Plus® Sludge Away removes organic bottom sludge reducing or eliminating the potentially dangerous gas formation, and it also helps clear pond water.

Microbe-Plus Sludge Away is particularly suitable for ponds with a substrate bottom and where soil vacuums are difficult to use. Works faster at warm water temperatures but can, however, be used year-round.

When used in ponds with UV lamps: it is best to turn them off when using the product until 3 days after treatment.

Microbe-Plus Sludge Away is available in 1L and 4L containers.
